Placenta Encapsulation
Placenta encapsulation is the process of preparing the placenta after birth by carefully cleaning, dehydrating, grinding, and placing it into easy-to-take capsules for postpartum use. Many mothers choose encapsulation as part of their postpartum wellness routine and have reported benefits such as supporting energy levels, mood, milk supply, hormonal balance, uterus contraction, replenishing nutrients, and overall postpartum recovery. While these benefits are based largely on personal experiences and have not been conclusively established through scientific research, placenta encapsulation offers families an option for honoring and utilizing the placenta as part of their individual postpartum journey. We also offer the placenta in a loose powder for those who have a challenge taking pills. You can add the powder to your daily smoothies for the same benefits.
I have over 20 years of experience in the wellness industry and am a Certified Placenta Encapsulator. Every placenta is handled and prepared following OSHA safety and sanitation guidelines. I maintain current Bloodborne Pathogens Certification and a valid Food Handler’s Permit. All equipment and preparation surfaces are thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized before and after to maintain a safe, sanitary environment throughout the placenta preparation process.
Placenta Preparation Services: $359.99-419.99
Capsules - placenta is dehydrated and put into clear vegan capsules
Powder - placenta is dehydrated and loose powder is put into a mason jar
Tincture - piece of placenta is raw and steeped for 6-8 weeks creating a liquid for consumption
Service Details
* $129.99 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your placenta preparation date. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 3 weeks prior to the due date listed on your intake form.
* Placenta pickup is included within a 60-mile radius of Menifee, California and will occur approximately 12–24 hours following birth.
* Additional travel fees apply to pickup locations outside the 60-mile service radius.
* Completed capsules/powder will be delivered within 2–3 days after placenta pickup.
* You will be notified once your services are complete to coordinate delivery times that work best for mom. Tinctures are delivered upon completion in 7-8 weeks.
*We can schedule a meet and greet once you book to discuss details and answer any questions you may have about the process.
After you book, you will receive the following with your receipt via email:
* Client Intake Form (pg. 1 return with signature)
*Terms of Service (pg. 2-3 return with signature)
*Release & Informed Consent (pg. 4-5 return with signature)
* Placenta Care & Storage Instructions (pg. 6 to be completed after birth and returned at pick up)
